Eamonn Farrell is a New Jersey–based actor working across film, television, and theater. With a strong foundation in stage performance, he brings emotional precision and sharp comic timing to the screen. He has recently starred in numerous independent short films and is a frequent face in national commercials, often cast as quirky employees and offbeat dads. Farrell is drawn to complex, character-driven storytelling.

In 2001, Eamonn helped to found Anonymous Ensemble, with whom he has devised new works for the stage every year since. Over the decades, Anonymous Ensemble has developed a performance aesthetic called “live film” that uses cameras, projectors, and sophisticated digital technologies to create performances that are live, mediated, and uniquely interactive.
For over 25 years, Eamonn worked in experimental theater and digital performance as a deviser, performer, assistant director, video designer—his work fluidly spans disciplines and collaborations. He’s worked alongside some of the most influential artists in performance, including Paul Lazar, Sarah Michelson, Robert Woodruff, and Tony Kushner. For two decades, he was a close collaborator of the late Lee Breuer, performing in every stop of the ten-year international tour of Mabou Mines’ Dollhouse, which played in over thirty countries. He also originated the role of the Gentleman Caller / Vaslav in Glass Guignol, bringing Breuer’s final production to life with Mabou Mines.

VOICE-OVER
In addition to working in theater and film, Eamonn has been a professional voice-over artist for the past fifteen years. He has worked freelance and as in-house talent for animation companies, e-learning companies, and record labels; his voice has been featured in hundreds of ads for radio, television, and internet. Eamonn has also provided narration for projects and voiced cartoons and animations in virtual learning environments and video games.
